Join Brian and be challenged to improve your ability to score and assist goals in the final third of the field. Along to being inducted into US Soccer Hall Of Fame in 2014, his 17 years of playing professional soccer and 3 years of being the General Manager for the US men’s and Youth National Teams has provided him with unparalleled understanding of what will help your athlete reach their full potential.

Our classes are for athletes 12 and up, both boys and girls. They will train side by side in a controlled and dynamic way. Taking part in finishing drills that provide at least two to three efforts on goal for each repetition. All drills are designed to put each athlete in situations that occur in matches and to challenge to play at a faster pace.

Emphases of Training

At McBride’s Academy, Coach McBride is committed to developing well-rounded players by focusing on five essential aspects of the game. These are the core principles that every player will master under his guidance.

Thought Processing (at Pace)

Master the ability to make quick, effective decisions in high-pressure situations.
Develop mental agility to read the game faster and react decisively.

Dynamic Movement

Enhance agility, balance, and control, both on and off the ball.
Learn how to position yourself effectively in various scenarios.

Technique

Perfect the fundamentals: ball control, passing, dribbling, and first touch.
Gain the confidence to maintain possession and execute skills under pressure.

Heading (Inside/Outside the Box)

Master the art of heading for both attacking and defensive situations.
Learn correct positioning, timing, and power for aerial dominance.

Pure Shooting

Develop power, accuracy, and composure in front of goal.
Practice various shooting techniques for different game scenarios.
Coach McBride personally trains each player, providing direct feedback and correcting the small details that can turn a good player into a great one. Each one-hour class is designed to be a dynamic and fast-paced session where players are constantly challenged.

Attacking Soccer Classes -ARC, Woodridge

Our attacking soccer classes at ARC, Woodridge are designed to help players develop confidence, technical skill, and creativity in offensive play. Sessions are held in a professional indoor environment, ideal for focused, small-group training. Each class is one hour long and capped at 10 players to ensure personalized coaching and high-quality instruction. Players are grouped by age to maximize development and competitive balance.

  • Ages: 12–15 and 15–18

  • Format: 1-hour sessions, age-specific blocks

  • Max Spots: 10 per session

  • Focus Areas: Attacking footwork, goal-scoring, movement off the ball, and 1v1 play

At North Shore Sports Center, our attacking soccer classes provide a high-energy environment for players to improve their offensive skills. With a strong emphasis on attacking decision-making and finishing techniques, each session is crafted to challenge and inspire players to take initiative on the field. Small group sizes allow for individualized feedback and faster development.
